In her time outside of work, Lesley enjoys immersing herself in nature with her partner and her fox-dog mix, Jasper. She also channels her creativity into various artistic pursuits.

Lesley draws deeply on her heritage and family traditions, which inspire her unwavering commitment to service and her dedication to advancing social and environmental causes. The MacKinnon clan motto, “Fortune Favours the Brave,” serves as a touchstone for courageous action towards shaping a prosperous future. Rooted in the mythology of Fortuna (the Roman goddess of luck who governs destinies), the motto reinforces that boldness is required to transform an organisation’s relationship with money to amplify impact on critical issues.
